I am a Software Engineer in test for MATLAB Math, Data Analysis and Mathematical Modeling at Mathworks, Natick, MA. I completed my Master's Degree in Data Analytics Engineering (MS) at Northeastern University, Boston, MA, USA in August 2022. I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology Engineering (B.Tech) from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Guwahati, India in 2020.
My primary field of research is Reinforcement Learning (RL). I have worked on theoretical RL and it's optimisation for one-shot learning. I worked as a research assistant under Prof. K Yamauchi at Chubu University in Japan. I worked there in a series of two internships, once in the summer of 2018 and again in the summer of 2019. The work I did was published as a research paper in the international conference ICPRAM 2019 held in Prague, Czech Republic.
During my Master's, I worked under Prof. Dehghani in the field of applied RL for Industrial Simulations and Operations Research (OR) problems. I used multiple tools/Languages such as Simio, Python and C#. To build multiple industy level simulation models, I used Simio. I also built RL models in Python and then linked the two using C# based APIs.
I am well versed with multiple programming languages, including but not limited to Python, R, MATLAB, Java, C and C#. I also have extensive experience in tools such as Tableau, Git, Make, CMake, Latex and Simio.
In my free time I enjoy snowboarding in the winters. I also like kitesurfing, hiking, camping and fishing during the warmer months.
